The following tutorial shows how to create a ragdoll model. These models are for more than just characters. The famous mattress model is a ragdoll model. If you want parts of a model to swing or move separately from the rest then you should use a ragdoll model. To use a ragdoll model you use propragdoll instead of propstatic or propdynamic. There is no reason to pose the rest of the ragdoll, if nobody is going to see it anyway. Camera and Standing Pose Tool First of all, you want to find a position to place your camera. Equiping the camera weapon will remove your hud, so it won't be in the screenshot.

- You could use this tool to freeze a ragdoll onto a platform, and then weld the ragdoll to it, resulting in a literal statue!
- Mattresses count as ragdolls, and so can be statued.
- The way statue is coded is to weld each bone of the ragdoll to every other. Meaning, alot of statues can cause quite some lag.
